These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.precastmantels.com (“Website”) and any purchases, orders, quotes, or communications made through the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Products & Services

LA Precast Mantels specializes in manufacturing:

• Precast, FORTON MG, GFRG and GFRC fireplace mantels
• Custom-designed cast stone architectural mantels

All products are made to order unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Quotes & Orders

A. Quotes

Quotes are based on the dimensions, drawings, or information provided by the customer. Pricing may change if the project specifications change after the quote is issued.

B. Custom Orders

Most of our products are custom manufactured, therefore:

• Production begins after payment is received
• Lead times vary depending on project size
• Small adjustments may be required to ensure structural integrity
• Customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements

C. Accuracy of Information

Customers must confirm:

• Firebox opening dimensions
• Surround measurements
• Clearance requirements
• Material selection
• Color/finish choice (when applicable)

We are not responsible for incorrect measurements or project information provided by the customer.

3. Payment Terms

A. Payment Requirements

• Most orders require payment in full before production begins
• We may use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
• Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise

B. Credit Card Fees

If the order is canceled before production begins, a 3% processing fee may apply to credit card payments, as these fees are non-refundable from the processor.

4. Production Lead Time

Average lead times are typically listed on the website or provided in the quote. These are estimates, not guarantees, as production depends on

• Order size
• Seasonal volume
• Material availability
• Custom design complexity

We will keep customers updated on any delays.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Freight

A. Freight Delivery

Most large products are shipped via freight carriers (e.g., Roadrunner Freight, FedEx Freight).

• Items are shipped on pallets and in custom crates
• Customer must inspect shipment upon delivery
• Customer is responsible for unloading (liftgate may not be available in all areas) if customer has not selected liftgate option upon check out

B. Damage During Shipping

All products are inspected before shipping.

If damage occurs during shipping:

• Customer must note the damage on the delivery receipt
• Customer must notify us within 24–48 hours
• Photos of the crate, packaging, and product are required

Failure to document damage may void freight insurance coverage.

6. Returns & Cancellations

A. Custom Products

Custom-made products are not returnable or refundable unless:

• The item arrives damaged
• We made an error in production (incorrect size, design, or finish)

B. Cancellation Policy

• Orders canceled within 24 hours are fully refundable
• After 24 hours, a cancellation may not be possible due to custom manufacturing schedules
• Credit card processing fees (3%) are non-refundable if payment was made by card
• If shop drawings completed and later the order is cancelled, 150 dollars will be charged back before issuing a refund

C. Color & Texture Variations

All cast stone and GFRC products may have minor color, texture, or surface variations. These natural variations are not considered defects.

7. Installation Responsibility

A. We Do Not Install

LA Precast Mantels does not provide installation services outside of California, Los Angeles, San Diego Surrounding areas

Customer must hire a qualified contractor or installer to:

• Ensure proper fitment
• Maintain required firebox clearances
• Anchor/heavy support as needed
• Meet local building/fire codes

We are not responsible for improper installation, improper handling, or failure to follow industry safety standards.

8. Warranty

We typically offer warranty coverage for manufacturing defects only.

A separate Warranty Page can elaborate further (I can write this next).

Warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation
• Damaged caused by misuse or impact
• Damage caused by weather or natural conditions
• Hairline cracks or normal expansion/contraction

9. Intellectual Property

All content on www.precastmantels.com — including:

• Images
• Product designs
• Text, descriptions, blog content
• Logos and branding
• Website layout

— is the property of LA Precast Mantels and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LA Precast Mantels is not liable for:

• Installation errors
• Shipping delays
• Property damage caused during installation
• Contractor mistakes
• Measurement errors provided by the customer
• Losses due to misuse, modification, or mishandling of the product

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers including:

• Payment processors
• Freight carriers
• Analytics platforms
• Marketing platforms

We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party providers.

12. Website Use

By using this Website, you agree not to:

• Attempt to interfere with Website functionality
• Upload harmful code or files
• Reproduce or redistribute Website content
• Misuse product images for commercial use without permission
• Submit false information through forms
